The Climb - Alps - Vistas
For "The Climb" I was part of the two men vista group and created together with Finn Meinert Matthiesen all
the backgrounds.
Overall I focused more on the asset side, creating modular mountain, rock, building and river sets for the
settings and Finn took care about the whole Vista art direction and focused more on the composition. But ín
general we basically splitted up the work and collaborated in many areas.
For the alps I created one half of the Mountains (the other half was done by Finn), worked on some of
the buildings, created a emissive lighting pass for the night setting and worked on the lake.

The foreground and the gameplay areas where done by Tom Deerberg (LeadArtist), Björn Wimar, Maximilian
Keilich, Sebastian Schulz, Philipp Schmidt, Ron Fröhlich and Matthias Wagner. Credits go also to Robert
Stephens and Patrick Gladys.
The global art direction was done by Pascal Eggert.
The main challenge was to achieve all this on target spec with 90 frames per second.
